The Ladykillers at Flat Track Fever in Calgary, AB

The Lakeland Ladykillers had an amazing time at Chinook City's "Flat Track Fever" Roller Derby Tournament. After two close games lost to Gas City and Grand Prairie, our travel team took on a challenge bout against the Foothills Roller Derby League and won their first bout! (Our 6th bout played since we started competing). Derby is in full swing for our League this year as we get ready to host our summer season at the JJParr Sports Arena in CFB Cold Lake, AB!

Game 4 - Track 2: Gas City beat Ladykillers, 151 - 92.

Game 10 - Track 2: GPRDA beat Ladykillers, 63 - 45.

Challenge Bout - Track 1: Ladykillers beat FRDA, 141 - 53.

Ever wondered what it's like to Referee a game of speed, excitement and hard hits?

Now's your chance! We call ourselves the Stripeforce, and it's our job to make sure the Ladykillers have Officials for their practice, scrimmages, and bouts. Without the Officials, Derby can't happen! It doesn't matter if you've heard of Derby or if you can even skate, if you're willing to learn something new - we'll train you from strapping on your gear to reffing every home and away game that our teams play.
